Acme's precise engineering has matched the proper propeller with a continuous
duty motor to form a high air flow and low energy consumption fan. This
fan offers the user maintenance free, long lasting equipment suited for
use in horticulture and agriculture environments.

- Propeller - Aluminum blades held securely in place by a steel
spider and hub provide quiet operation.
- Motor - Heavy duty PSC, totally enclosed motor with automatic
thermal overload protection and ball bearings is energy efficient. Motor
can be used with variable speed control for more precise air movement.
- Guards - Two piece wire guard for easy access has a gray plastic
coating to resist corrosion.
- Installation - Two piece rotational bracket provides a locking
tilt adjustment for proper angle of air flow. "S" bracket
provides two different dimensional mountings.
- Wiring - Motor comes factory wired on the "A4" with
a six foot, three conductor cord with grounding type molded plug for
easy installation. The "F4" motor has the specified cord shipped
unattached.

Available in 60 cycle (some sizes in 50 cycle on request).

EDC 18 - EDC24 Air Blowers

Air blowers are developed to break up stratified heat, humidity and stagnant
air. The unique propeller design is self-cleaning and, together with air
flow rectifiers, allows the highest efficiency to be reached.
The
round housing and air flow rectifiers are made of a strong galvanised
sheet-steel. The 6-blade propeller is statically and dynamic balanced
for low noise and low vibration.
To improve aerodynamic efficiency, the air blower has been developed
in Munters euroemme's R&D lab. The test chamber has been built according
to ANSI/AMCA 210-85 Figure 15 specifications. Construction details and
airtightness have been verified by personnel of the BESS Lab at the Agricultural
Engineering Department, University of Illinois - USA.
Equipment
- Air blower housing is made of strong, pre-coated, galvanised sheet-steel.
- Each motor is individually tested for 100"/#) quality control.
- Propeller is statically and dynamically balanced.
- Special hooks on housing permit the blower to be easily hung.
- The smooth air recirculation obtained by using air blowers helps
to prevent condensation.
- Air recirculation helps to prevent crops disease and helps crops
transpiration.
- Every blower is individually checked for quality.

Curves refer to EDC18 and EDC24 3Ph 50 Hz single
speed motor.
